Releather Pricing
Releathering is the process of replacing the stiff polyurethane strap that comes on a replica belt from the factory with a hand tooled, soft, 100% real leather strap exactly like the belts you see on TV.
All our real leather straps are created by master craftsman Paul Martin using only the finest local materials and skills honed over decades to ensure you have the highest quality strap that lasts a lifetime.
We currently offer two options when it comes to releathering your belts.
Send Out Straps
- We create a strap and send it directly to you.
- All the holes for attaching your belt plates will come pre-punched through the strap and backing, all you have to do is unscrew your replica plates from the factory strap and screw them onto your new PMB real leather strap and you’re done.
- As standard, straps are made to the exact same design and quality as the belts used on TV. – No AEW, TNA, UFC or WWE logos can be used.
- Your choice of regular fastening snaps, full Velcro or imitation snaps and Velcro as seen on the belts on TV from 2023 onwards.
- A huge range of leather colour and backing colour/material options are available.
- Our current range of Send Out straps can be found in our Shop. For anything not listed in the shop, contact us.

Full Releathers
- You send us your replica plates to our workshop in Scotland or we can supply brand new officially licensed replica plates and releather them.
- Screws on the back of the belt are completely covered with leather backing just like the belts on TV.
- As standard, straps are made to the exact same design and quality as the belts used on TV. – No AEW, TNA, UFC or WWE logos can be used.
- Your choice of regular fastening snaps, full Velcro or imitation snaps and Velcro as seen on the belts on TV from 2023 onwards.
- A huge range of leather colour and backing colour/material options are available.
- Our current range of Send Out straps can be found in our Shop. For anything not listed in the shop, contact us.

No AEW, TNA, UFC, WWE or WWF logos can be used on any straps, this is non-negotiable.
All prices listed below apply to both Send Out Straps and full releathers in the TV accurate style and colour scheme (prices DO NOT include the price of replica plates.) Traditionally this is a black strap with black leather backing and regular fastening snaps, however, If a TV belt had a different colour strap or backing, (such as a Blue Universal or the Blue Big Eagle with brown croc backing) this will be reflected in the price.

Baseplates
All the ‘Big Logo’ belts such as the 2014 Heavyweight Championship and Universal belts, as well as the Scratch Logo 2013 Championship are all available for full Baseplate upgrades.
This involves securing a custom designed and custom-made 24k gold-plated 4mm precision acid etched zinc plate to sit underneath the centre plate, and 24k gold-plated 2mm precision acid etched zinc plates under each side plate to increase the thickness of the plates and to match the belts used on TV as closely as possible. (they also used this exact same plate and baseplate construction.)
Baseplates also add an additional 12 real screws to the belt as well as rubber washers placed under the backing to fully imitate the TV look.
Baseplates are only available as part of a full TV upgrade package and will not be sold separately.
